Our Team

We are extremely proud to introduce our team of experienced therapists. Our team consists of three specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists and a specialist podiatrist. Our physiotherapists are fully qualified members with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council. Our podiatrist is a member of the Royal College of Podiatry and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Meet David Presland

Physiotherapist

David qualified as a physiotherapist in 1997, graduating as a mature student from the University of Bradford. David has worked in private practice for over 25 years at both Heath Mount Physiotherapy, Halifax and Physio Logic Ltd, Otley. David has also served at Heath Rugby Union Football Club as a physiotherapist for many seasons.

Meet Dan Cole

Physiotherapist

Dan qualified as a physiotherapist in 2019. Dan initially attained a first-class honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University (2013-16), before going on to achieve a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University (2017-19). Alongside his position here with us at The Vale Physiotherapy, Dan also works as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS.

Meet Matthew Schofield

Physiotherapist

Matt graduated from the University of Huddersfield with a First Class Honours in Physiotherapy in 2020, after 6 years of experience as a Graduate Sport and Exercise Therapist. He brings a vast amount of experience to the team having worked in the private sector, strength and conditioning facilities and more recently as a Head Physiotherapist within professional sport. Matt also currently works as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS.

Meet Bethan Hirst

Physiotherapist

Bethan graduated with a first class honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Salford in 2023. Prior to qualifying as a physiotherapist, Bethan worked as a qualified sports therapist gaining experience with sports clubs, alongside working in private practice. Bethan also currently works as a physiotherapist within the NHS.

Meet Paramesh Mistry

Physiotherapist

Paramesh qualified and graduated with a first-class honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Huddersfield. Paramesh now forms the crucial link between ourselves and Heath RUFC as the head of physiotherapy services at the rugby club. Within this role he delivers match day physiotherapy, alongside midweek injury assessment and treatment sessions from our clinic itself. Paramesh also works in the NHS as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Meet Rachel Ramsden

Podiatrist

Rachel qualified in 2009 as a mature student from the University of Huddersfield. Since then, Rachel has worked both privately and locally in the NHS. Rachel specialises in routine foot care as well as treatment of a wide range of conditions arising both musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions.
