We are extremely proud to introduce our team of experienced therapists. All of our Adult & Children’s physiotherapists are registered with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Alongside this, our Children’s physiotherapists are registered with the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists (APCP).
Meet Dan Cole
Lead Adults Physiotherapist
Dan qualified as a physiotherapist in 2019. Dan initially attained a first-class honours degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University (2013-16), before going on to achieve a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University (2017-19). Alongside his position here with us at The Vale Physiotherapy, Dan also works as a clinical lead physiotherapist and first contact practitioner within the NHS.
Meet Lauren Bolger
Lead Children's Physiotherapist
Lauren qualified as a physiotherapist in 2019, completing her MSc Physiotherapy degree at Sheffield Hallam University. Lauren has specialised in paediatric physiotherapy since 2019, working at the Leeds Childrens Hospital. Lauren has gained a wide variety of experience working with children of all ages, presenting with; respiratory, cardiovascular, orthopaedic, neurological, complex neuro-developmental and musculoskeletal conditions. Lauren has also worked within the private sector since 2021, offering a mixture of clinic-based and domiciliary services. Lauren is now a clinical lead physiotherapist at Leeds Childrens Hospital and specialises within neurodevelopmental services.
Meet Jacob Watkins
Adult Physiotherapist
Jacob has now been qualified 4 years as a physiotherapist, graduating from Sheffield Hallam University in 2021. Alongside his position here at The Vale Physiotherapy, Jacob works as a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS.
Meet Bethan Hirst
Children's Physiotherapist
Bethan graduated with a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Salford in 2023. Bethan began her career working in adult physiotherapy and has more recently transitioned into a paediatric physiotherapy role within the NHS. Bethan has always been passionate about working with children and helping young people reach their full potential. Bethan now works with a wide range of children's musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, helping individuals build confidence, improve function and achieve their functional goals.
Meet Naim Mohammed
Adult Physiotherapist
Naim graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in physiotherapy from the University of Bradford in 2023. Since qualifying he has worked across multiple sectors including the NHS, private sector and across multiple sports. Naim also currently works as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist within the NHS.
